Adults
At the core of every individual’s life is a need for relationships—with God and with God’s people. Our Adult Ministries are designed to help strengthen these relationships.
Each week during the Sunday School hour the adults at Faith spend time fellowshipping around God’s Word. This provides opportunity to make new friends, deepen existing friendships and strengthen one’s faith. Classes are arranged in a variety of formats to insure that everyone is able to find a place of comfort. There are co-ed classes for couples as well as classes geared specifically for women and for men. In each of these settings, the study of God’s Word is paramount.
Throughout the year there are also additional discipleship and fellowship opportunities such as Ladies’ and Men’s Bible Studies, class trips, and service opportunities.
Children
As a part of ‘NEXT Gen Wednesdays,’ our children meet at 6:30 on Wednesday evenings where they build relationships with each other and with Christ.
The highlight of our children’s ministry is our annual summer Vacation Bible School which normally meets the second week of July. Specific dates and information is made available on our website before hand.
Faith Baptist Church also offers before school care as well as after school care. Information about each of these services may be obtained by calling 704-209-1136 or the church office at 704-279-3629.
During all of our services Nursery care is also provided. It is staffed by loving members of our church in a safe and age-specific room. A nursing room is also available for mothers with nursing children.
Youth
Our 6-12 Grade Youth Ministry meets on Wednesday nights as part of ‘NEXT Gen Wednesday.’ Each week they spend time building relationships through games and activities followed by a digging into the Word of God. Our youth also do several events throughout the year including their own group during our week of VBS.
Seniors
The Senior Adults of Faith Baptist Church are a very lively group. They typically meet once a month during the morning for a time of sharing and fellowship. This fellowship time has included all sorts of interesting presentations from pictures from a Holy Land trip, a time of singing, to a world champion balloon tying artist sharing his expertise.
Throughout the year, the seniors participate in day trips. These trips have included visits to historic homes, viewing Christmas lights and fall leaves, visiting apple orchards, and going to plays. These trips are always spiced with laughter and wonderful fellowship.
